APPLICATION FOR BOARD OF DIRECTOR

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Certificate of Candidacy (3 copies, all blanks duly filled-in and duly subscribed and sworn to before a person authorized to officiate an oath);

2. Barangay Certification (that the applicant-candidate is of good moral character and that he/she is a bonafide resident of the place at least two (2) years before the scheduled election);

3. Official transcript of records, diploma and/or, certification or valid identification from the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC);

4. Birth certificate;

5. Police or NBI clearances;

6. Certification from the Commission on Elections regarding non-candidacy of the applicant-candidate and his/her spouse in the last preceding local or national elections;

7. Regular Membership Certification (form to be provided by the Cooperative);

8. Annual General Membership Assembly attendance certification (to be provided by the Cooperative);

9. If government employee, permit (stating the position title and salary grade) to run and sit as Director of Paleco at the time of filing of certificate of candidacy issued by the Head of Office and concurred by their department secretary/regional director/local chief executive or their duly authorized representative;

10. Electric Bill Payment Clearance (form to be provided by the Cooperative);

11. Power Pilferage Certification (form to be provided by the Cooperative);

12. Affidavit on relationship with Paleco officers.

SCHOLARSHIP

Children of active member-consumer-owner of PALECO for the past one (1) year, Parents should not been apprehended of power pilferage and no relative regularly employed at PALECO.

  • Single and not more than 20 years old
  • Average grade of not lower than 85%
  • Upper 10% of the graduating class
  • Good moral character
  • Only those who are incoming First Year College for School Year 2022-2023 are qualified to avail the PALECO Scholarship Program

  • Latest Income Tax Return of Parents (not exceeding Php 120,000.00)
  • Certification from the Principal that the applicant belongs to the upper 10% of the graduates and that he/she has good moral character

Can enroll to any public school, college or university within Palawan

FULL SCHOLARSHIP
(Final grade of 86% or 2)

  • Php 3,000.00 books and miscellaneous allowance
  • Php 2,000.00 monthly allowance
  • Two sets of school uniform for the first year 1st semester and one for succeeding semesters

PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP
(Final grade of 83% or 2.25)

  • Php 1,500.00 books and miscellaneous allowance
  • Php 1,000.00 monthly allowance
  • Two sets of school uniform for the first year 1st semester

APPLICANT PAYS CORRESPONDING FEES TO THE CO-OP CASHIER AS REFLECTED ON THE SUMMARY OF CHARGES FORM (SUBSCRIBED SHARE/ PAID-UP CAPITAL) AND SECURES CLEARANCE FROM THE BILLING SECTION.
