The Philippine Federation of Electric Cooperatives (PHILFECO), an organization of ECs registered under the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), held its 17th Annual General Assembly Meeting (AGAM) on April 11-13, 2024, at Henann Resort Alona Beach, Bohol with a theme of, “Building a Federation Anchored in Sustainable Development and Mutual Cooperation.”

Present at the AGAM were Engr. Rez L. Contrivida, General Manager of PALECO, Atty. Ivan Darwin G. Zamora, NEA-Designated Project Supervisor of PALECO, and the members of the PALECO Board of Directors (BODs) led by Dir. Maylene D. Ballares.

 

During the assembly, an election took place in which GM Contrivida was elected as Treasurer and Dir. Ballares was elected as a member of the PHILFECO Board of Directors (BODs).

Also in attendance during the said Meeting was Hon. Antonio Mariano C. Almeda, Administrator of the National Electrification Administration (NEA) who served as the Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker.
