PALECO RECEIVED SEVEN AWARDS FROM THE RECENTLY CONCLUDED 2022 ANNUAL GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING OF THE PHILIPPINE RURAL ELECTRIC COOPERATIVES ASSOCIATION, INC. (PHILRECA) HELD LAST AUGUST 10-13, 2022 AT THE ILOILO CONVENTION CENTER, MANDURRIAO, ILOILO CITY
With the theme: “LEAVING NO ONE BEHIND: Achieving Total Electrification and Realizing Social Equitability thru Empowerment of the Rural Communities” PHILRECA celebrates its 43rd anniversary.
The Awards from the Wires is conducted every PHILRECA general membership assembly in celebration of the service of all electric cooperatives (ECs) nationwide and their partners.
The awards given to PALECO are as follow:
BRONZE STELLAR AWARD
For attaining an above-average level of collection efficiency despite constraints and restrictions.
PROMPT PAYOR AWARD
For committing itself to timely and efficient settlement of its annual dues as a member EC of PHILRECA.
MCO CHAMPION AWARD
For having organized its member-consumer-owners in the barangay level, and for empowering the MCOs of PALECO to become advocates of the rural electrification movement.
OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AWARD
For attaining a single digit loss in the operation while in pursuit of total electrification and sustainable rural development notwithstanding all difficulties confronting the rural electrification movement.
UNPARALLELED SERVICE AWARD
For ensuring that EC employees are responsive and efficient in handling EC-related concerns through the operationalization of the 24/7 customer service to member-consumer-owners.
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH EXCELLENCE AWARD
For achieving operation and service without incurring occupational casualties and for observing and strictly implementing effective safety measures in its operations.
CHAMPION OF THE ONE EC NETWORK FOUNDATION AWARD
For carrying out the vision-mission of the One EC Network Foundation, Inc. to life by providing basic social and economic services to beneficiaries while in the midst of a pandemic and crisis.
Officer-in-Charge Neriza S. Regal together with the Cooperative’s Board of Directors headed by Chairperson Jeffrey Y. Tan- Endriga received the awards.
Also present in the said event are Department Managers Ms. May Ann A. Francisquite and Mr. Peter Vincent S. Mendoza, Institutional Services Department (ISD) and Corporate Planning Department (CPD), respectively.
These awards and recognition are dedicated to all member-consumer-owners (MCOs) of PALECO for their unwavering support and cooperation with the cooperative.
