PALECO IN ACTION: Tarabiangan and Electrikalye Successfully Held in Barangay Mangingisda on September 13

In line with its commitment to service and community partnership, the Palawan Electric Cooperative (Paleco) successfully conducted its monthly Tarabiangan and Electrikalye activities in Barangay Mangingisda on Saturday, September 13.

Guided by the spirit of volunteerism, employees from Paleco’s main office carried out a massive line clearing operation, known as Tarabiangan, to help minimize power interruptions caused by vegetation and wildlife interference.

At the same time, the Cooperative brought its services closer to residents through the Electrikalye initiative. These services included the Pre-Membership Education Seminar, mobile bill payment, applications for new service connections, billing inquiries and complaints desk, IT Innovation booth and a kilowatt-hour (kWh) meter exhibit, among others.

During the house-to-house visits, employees distributed information materials, delivered disconnection notices to concerned member-consumer-owners (MCOs), and assisted them in registering for Paleco’s textblast program to ensure timely updates on power advisories and cooperative announcements.

Tarabiangan and Electrikalye are conducted every second Saturday of the month not only in Puerto Princesa City but also in Paleco’s North and South Satellite Offices, reinforcing the Cooperative’s mission to provide reliable service and strengthen ties with its MCOs across its franchise area.
