The Palawan Electric Cooperative (Paleco), led by General Manager Engr. Rez L. Contrivida, proudly took part in the Balayong Tree Planting and Nurturing Festival 2025 held today, July 26, at Balayong People’s Park.

 

This meaningful participation underscores Paleco’s strong commitment to environmental protection and sustainability, while also expressing full support for the City Government of Puerto Princesa’s greening and conservation efforts.

 

The Balayong tree, often referred to as the “The Palawan Cherry Tree,” stands as a symbol of beauty and hope for the city. By planting and nurturing these trees, Paleco joins the collective effort to preserve this living emblem of Puerto Princesa’s cultural identity and natural heritage.
