The management of the Palawan Electric Cooperative (Paleco), under the leadership of General Manager Engr. Rez L. Contrivida, respect and recognizes the authority, powers, and responsibilities of the National Electrification Administration (NEA) under Presidential Decree No. 269, as amended by Republic Act No. 10531.

As Paleco extend its heartfelt thanks to the former board of directors for their leadership, dedication and commitment over their tenure, the newly appointed members of the NEA Task Force Paleco, designated by the NEA Board of Administrators, are being welcomed. The members of the Task Force are as follows:

• Atty. Fe Marie D. Tagle, General Manager of Negros Oriental II Electric Cooperative (NORECO II), appointed as Chairperson of the Task Force
• Engr. Getulio Z. Crodua, General Manager of Cebu I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CEBECO I)
• Mr. Virgilio C. Fortich, Jr., General Manager of Cebu III Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CEBECO III)
• Engr. Emmanuel B. Galarse, General Manager of Agusan del Sur Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ASURECO)
• Engr. Jerry D. Morastil, General Manager of Davao del Sur Electric Cooperative, Inc. (DASURECO)

Paleco commits to extending its full cooperation to the NEA Task Force Paleco in the interest of ensuring the fulfillment of its mandate and the continued delivery of reliable service to the cooperative’s member-consumer-owners.

Furthermore, Paleco assures its member-consumer-owners of its active participation in the ongoing NEA-Administrative Committee (ADCOM) motu proprio investigation related to NEA Administrative Case No. 01-01-2025. It remains hopeful for the swift and fair resolution of the matter.

Paleco remains dedicated to upholding transparency, accountability, and the efficient delivery of services to its member-consumer-owners.
