LIBRENG THERMAL SCANNING PARA SA MGA BIG-LOAD CONSUMER, HATID NG PALECO
Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagsisikap na mapanatili ang ligtas at maaasahang suplay ng kuryente, ang Palawan Electric Cooperative (PALECO) ay magsasagawa ng libreng thermal scanning service para sa mga kwalipikadong Big-Load Consumers o mga consumer na may sole-use o dedicated transformer.
Sa pamamagitan ng thermal scanning, maaaring matukoy ang mga bahagi ng electrical system na may abnormal na pag-init o “hot spots.” Sa pamamagitan nito, maaaring maagapan ang mga posibleng problema tulad ng maluluwag na koneksyon, overloaded circuits, at iba pang depektong maaaring magdulot ng pagkasira ng kagamitan o pagkaantala ng operasyon.
Upang maging kwalipikado sa libreng thermal scanning service, kinakailangang mabayaran nang buo ang buwanang obligasyon sa PALECO sa loob ng limang (5) araw mula sa aktwal na pagtanggap ng Statement of Account (SOA) at sa loob ng itinakdang program period.
Sa pamamagitan ng programang ito, layunin ng PALECO na matulungan ang mga Big-Load Consumers na mapanatili ang maayos na kondisyon ng kanilang electrical facilities, maiwasan ang hindi inaasahang power interruptions, at mapalakas ang kaligtasan ng kanilang operasyon.
Narito ang mechanics para sa nasabing programa ng Kooperatiba:
1. Program Duration
The program shall run from July 2026 (covering June 2026 consumption/billing) to January 2027 (covering December 2026 consumption/billing).
2. Eligibility
The program is open to all active PALECO consumers classified as Big-Load Consumers or those utilizing sole-use or dedicated transformers and operating within PALECO’s franchise area.
3. Qualification Requirement
To qualify for the free thermal scanning service, the consumer must pay their monthly PALECO dues in full within five (5) calendar days from the actual receipt of the Statement of Account (SOA) during the program duration.
4. Verification
Payments made through PALECO offices, accredited banks, or authorized payment channels (e.g., GCash, Maya, and Bayad Center) shall be eligible, provided that the transaction date is within five (5) calendar days from the actual receipt of the Statement of Account (SOA) and falls within the program duration.
SCOPE OF THERMAL SCANNING WORK
Qualified accounts will receive a Free Thermographic (Thermal) Inspection executed by the Technical Services Department (TSD).
The scan will be restricted to the following critical components.
• Consumers Lineside Metering Facilities
Inspection of service entrance connections, current transformers (CT/PT) enclosures, and utility-side metering line terminations.
• Transformer Banks
Thermal mapping of dedicated transformer units, bushings, low-voltage /high-voltage terminations, and cooling fins.
• High-Voltage Line Connections
Scanning of overhead line taps, fuse cutouts, lightning arresters, and primary insulation connections directly feeding the consumer’s substation facility.
