PALECO IN ACTION
The Palawan Electric Cooperative (PALECO) recognizes the importance of promoting the health and well-being of children in the community. Through its Member Services Division under the Institutional Services Department, PALECO donated a total of 100 kilograms of malagkit rice and 50 kilograms of aroma rice during a turnover ceremony yesterday, December 4, held at Brilliant Daycare Center, Purok Hartman, Brgy. San Miguel, Puerto Princesa City. These sacks of rice shall be utilized in support of the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC)’s feeding program and were formally handed over to the barangay officials.
In addition, PALECO also brought food for the daycare pupils, adding a special treat for the children during the short program.
Furthermore, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture through its Dairy Production and Development Center in Brgy. Irawan, PALECO also turned over 200 bottles of fresh milk to support the barangay’s nutrition initiatives.
Both contributions form part of PALECO’s continuing commitment to community development and child welfare, aligned with its approved Social Development Plan for the year 2025.
