As we welcome a brand-new month, PHILRECA extends its warmest greetings of unity, service, and renewed commitment to each of our dedicated member-electric cooperatives and the communities you serve. Every month is an opportunity for us to pause, reflect, and reaffirm our shared mission to bring inclusive and sustainable electrification to the countryside.
And this month, we have even more reason to come together. October marks the celebration of National Cooperative Month, a time when the entire cooperative sector in the country commemorates the significant role of cooperatives in national development.
Tayo ay kooperatiba ng taumbayan at para sa taumbayan. We embody the spirit of cooperation, inclusivity, and grassroots empowerment. National Cooperative Month gives us the platform to showcase not just our accomplishments, but also our deeper purpose to uplift lives, connect communities, and empower every Member-Consumer-Owner.
This celebration is also a meaningful opportunity to strengthen the camaraderie and solidarity among ECs, reminding us of the core values that unite us as a sector. At the same time, we recognize the unwavering commitment of our member-ECs in extending assistance to fellow cooperatives affected by calamities. Hindi matatawaran ang inyong dedikasyon at kabayanihan. From mobilizing line workers through our Task Force Kapatid initiative to helping restore power in disaster-stricken areas, these acts of service and compassion embody the true essence of cooperative spirit, proof that beyond systems and infrastructure, it is our people and shared values that power this movement.
PHILRECA remains committed to being an organization with a purpose. We will continue to serve as your collective voice, your support system, and your partner in navigating challenges and pursuing progress.
