Palawan Electric Cooperative stands in solidarity with the Northern Davao Electric Cooperative, Inc. (NORDECO), Camarines Sur III Electric Cooperative, Inc. and other ECs. We call on the lawmakers to honor the existing legislative franchises granted to NORDECO, CASURECO III and all ECs. Electric cooperatives should be owned by the communities and the member-consumer-owners they serve, not by the oligarchs, not by the few elites.
