NEA Administrator Antonio Mariano Almeda attended the Task Force Kapatid (TFK) Masbate send-off ceremony on Tuesday, 28 October 2025, at the Magallanes Coliseum in Masbate City.

In his address, Administrator Almeda expressed his deep appreciation to the TFK contingents from Luzon and Visayas electric cooperatives (ECs) for their vital role in accelerating power restoration and line rehabilitation efforts in Masbate province in the wake of Typhoon ‘Opong.’

He noted that the team accomplished 97-percent of their target in just 23 days. The NEA chief further remarked that the participating TFK lineworkers left him speechless and that they did not let him down.
