‘𝐁𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐢’: 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐝, 𝐔𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 ‘𝐎𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐠’

 

The Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association, Inc. (PHILRECA) expresses its deepest gratitude to all participating electric cooperatives (ECs) of Task Force Kapatid (TFK) for their unwavering support and assistance to the Masbate Electric Cooperative, Inc. (MASELCO) in restoring power across Masbate after the devastation brought by Typhoon ‘Opong’ last September.

 

On 28 October 2025, PHILRECA joined the official send-off ceremony honoring the dedicated lineworkers and technical teams who took part in the massive power restoration mission. A total of 398 volunteer lineworkers and technical experts from 47 electric cooperatives across the country were deployed to help rebuild MASELCO’s distribution system.

 

The Task Force Kapatid initiative continues to embody the true spirit of bayanihan and the mission of electrification with compassion, ensuring that every Filipino home, no matter how far, shines bright once again with light and hope.
