In general:<\/p>\n

We added a section to help you better understand why our services may
\naccess the internet when not actively engaged, to encourage you to check
\nyour Internet service plan and your device and network settings, as each of
\nthose may affect your costs.<\/p>\n

We updated and clarified our Settling disputes, governing law, and courts
\nsection.<\/p>\n

We make it clearer how various sections in our terms relate to each other.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re based in the EEA:<\/p>\n

In addition to the changes in the In general section, we updated various
\nsections to reflect the latest EEA laws and regulations that apply to our
\nservices, including:<\/p>\n

Google\u2019s obligation to make legally-required updates to our digital
\ncontent, services, and goods.<\/p>\n

A new, online \u201cwithdrawal button\u201d in the EEA instructions on withdrawal
\nsection.<\/p>\n

We also removed the Handling requests for your data section, because we\u2019re
\ncentralizing our data disclosure language on our

In addition to the changes in the In general section, we added new
\ndisclosures and disclaimers, including ones about AI outputs.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re based in India, we also added new reporting language about our
\nobligations if you violate applicable law.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re a parent or guardian, and you allow your child to use the
\nservices, please review the updates to our terms with your child and help
\nthem decide whether they need to make any changes to their account. Please
\nremember that these terms apply to you and you\u2019re responsible for your
\nchild\u2019s activity on the services.<\/p>\n
