rin sa petisyon ng National Power Corporation (NAPOCOR) patungkol sa pagtaas ng Subsidized Approved Generation Rate (SAGR) para sa mga Distribution Utilities (DUs) at New Power Providers (NPPs) na kabilang sa Small Power Utilities Group (SPUG) katulad ng Palawan Electric Cooperative (PALECO) at Power Providers nito, unang nagpatupad ng pagtaas sa singil sa SAGR ang PALECO noong 2022 na may halagang P0.7288 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), samantalang magtataas naman ito para sa taong 2023 ng P1.3116\/kWh at P1.7496 per kWh para sa taong 2024.<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Ang SAGR ay tumutukoy sa Subsidized Generation Rate na sinisingil ng mga DUs na nasa ilalim ng NPC-SPUG o tumutukoy sa mga island-provinces gaya ng Lalawigan ng Palawan. Ibig sabihin nito ang totoong halaga ng kuryente o True Cost Generation Rate (TGCR) ay hindi sinisingil sa mga konsumidores bagkus ang SAGR lamang ang sinisingil dahil sa mayroon tayong nakukuhang subsidiya sa pamamagitan ng sinisingil na Universal Charge for Missionary Electrification (UCME) na binabayaran ng lahat ng mga gumagamit ng kuryente sa buong bansa.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Samantala, inilabas rin ng ERC ang kanilang desisyon sa ERC Case No. 2013-191 RC noong ika-4 ng Agosto taong 2022 sa petisyon ng NAPOCOR kaugnay sa, \u201cRecovery from the Universal Charge of the Shortfall in the Missionary Electrification Subsidy for CY2012 and the Corresponding Adjustment of the Universal Charge for Missionary Electrification (UCME).\u201d Base sa nasabing desisyon, pinaguutos ng ERC sa mga DU na kumolekta ng dagdag na P0.0239\/kWh sa basic rate ng UCME na may halagang P0.1561\/kWh.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Ang UCME o Universal Charge for Missionary Electrification ay sinisingil sa lahat ng end-user ng kuryente. Dito nanggagaling ang pondo para sa pagbabayad sa subsidiya ng mga missionary areas sa bansa gaya ng Palawan kaya naman tanging SAGR lamang ang binabayaran ng mga member-consumer-owner (MCO) ng
